Guidelines for Winter Recreation near Wolverine Dens

Recreation and denning female wolverines don’t mix very well. Fortunately, we know how we can minimize disturbances when working, operating or playing in wolverine denning habitat, by following these guidelines. We don’t always have simple solutions for complex problems - but identifying female dens, and staying away from them, is doable and effective.
